The RETHINK Project held its second transnational activity in Lublin, bringing together partners from across Europe to exchange on how art and culture can help rethink the city as an inclusive, sustainable and beautiful place.
After the training in Parma on the New European Bauhaus (NEB) principles, the focus of this seminar shifted to strategies of youth participation and inclusion, particularly in the more neglected urban areas.
The experience of Lublin as European Youth Capital 2023 offered valuable inspiration: through different strategies and projects, the city increased the participation of young people in civic life by creating a network of eight youth centres across its territory.
Thanks to the partners’ presentations and the workgroup discussions, the seminar highlighted the most important elements that can guide the creation of inclusive, sustainable and beautiful cities with the support of young people, in line with the NEB principles.
